it's still just a guess so far. It's just that when things start painting funny, GDI is the first thing I usually think about going wrong. If GDI is the cause, it could be anything from Designer itself to anything else running on the machine causing the problem :-) I'll look more at the second NSD today - it may yet be something entirely different!
